Extended Care
We provide
quality Christian care for school-age children while parents work,
helping children develop spiritually, socially, intellectually,
physically, and emotionally outside the classroom in a safe and
wholesome setting.
Trinity Lutheran
School established the Extended School Care Center in 1990 to serve
the needs of its parents and students. The Extended Care Center
operates in conjunction with Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and
Trinity Lutheran School. Care is available for children enrolled in
Trinity Lutheran School from 6:30 a.m. to the start of the school
day and from the end of the school day to 6:00 p.m. When school is
closed all day, extended care is closed as well.
The Extended Care
program provides for scheduled as well as freeform activities. Early
morning care is a relaxed program where a variety of indoor
activities are available for various ages. Midday and afternoon care
offers physical activity outside on the playground or in Belvedere
Hall, stories, games, arts & crafts, and free play. Pre-K students
entering the center at 11:30 a.m. have lunch and quiet/nap time.
Older students are given a 30 minute study period each day to
complete their homework.
Enrollment for
Extended Care is on a first come, first served basis for any child
enrolled in Trinity Lutheran School, PK through fifth grade.
Priority is given to families with children enrolling in the
five-day program. See FEES, RATES, and DISCOUNTS for Extended Care
costs. |
