We bring the season of Epiphany to a close with Transfiguration Sunday. Jesus shining brilliantly, Moses and Elijah present in conversation, God the Father making an appearance off-camera - there is a lot to take in and talk about.
Jesus, between Moses and Elijah, reminds us of His journey climbing another hill - Calvary. There He is not between two prophets but scourged between two sinners for our sins.
